EXPOSE

Do I see the other
or do I project?

The gaze is not innocent. Every time you see, something of you looks with you.

Origin

EXPOSE arises from a question, before it is a project.

Do I see the other
or do I project?

This question was formulated and held by Giampiero Colella.
Not as belonging.
Not as doctrine.
As responsibility.

Before judgment, there is a gaze.
EXPOSE begins there.

It is not a commercial project.
It is not an organization.
It is not a movement.

It is a minimal practice of the gaze.

EXPOSE is not neutral.

Not neutral toward superficiality.
Not neutral toward immediate reaction.
Not neutral toward automatic judgment.

To speak of exposure
means to expose oneself.

EXPOSE does not ask to be followed.
It only asks that, for a moment,
you not follow yourself.
